social isolation and loneliness in our communities and build a community of togetherness.

2. USING REAL NAMES ON VEENNER
When you create your profile on Veenner, we require that you use your real identity with name
orders as on your official documents. Using your real and full names as on your official
documents gives everyone the basic and correct information about who they are communicating with.
3. DATA CONTROLLER
Veenner, represented by the board, is according to GDPR acting as a data controller for the processing
of your personal data on this platform. The day-to-day operations are delegated to our CEO.
4. THE PURPOSE OF OUR PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Veenner only processes personal data for necessary and legal purposes related to our services.
Below, we describe in more detail the different processing purposes that follow from the services
we provide, as well as the legal basis on which we base our processing of your personal information.
4.1 PROVIDING THE VEENNER PLATFORM
We process your personal data for running the Veenner platform and to provide you our services.
The personal information we process on your behalf is based what you have provided and shared on our platform,
either directly or indirectly. Direct sharing of information is the information you share for example on your
profile or in discussion groups. Indirect information includes how you have used the site
(such as what you have looked at and links you have followed).
While being active on the site, you create content, such as events, blogs, articles, discussion groups
and interest circles where you and others may participate. In addition, you take part in exchanges with others on Veenner.
Veenner will enable you to connect with new people who genuinely share the same interest as you. We use the information you
provide to match you with other Veenner users that match your personality, city of residence and interests.
Providing information about your current location otherwise on this platform is voluntary, and only required when you
request us to find people with the same nationality as you at the same location as you are.
The location you provide will also enable us to offer you services that are near you.
Advertising and sponsoring on Veenner is a good way for our partners to create awareness to their products and services.
We offer our advertising and sponsored partners to use targeted advertising campaigns. We share with them aggregated and
anonymized demographic and other information on group level. Our advertisers will not be able to identify you in the shared data.
The advertiser decides what their target groups for advertising are, and Veenner will present the advertisements to people in these groups.
We also help advertisers and sponsors measure the effectiveness and distribution of their ads and services and understand the
types of people who use their services and how people interact with their websites, apps, and services.
This information will also be presented as anonymized data on group level, and our partners will not be
able to identify you in these data.
Should you choose to click on links that connect to third-party web sites, privacy matters for these sites are
governed by that site’s owners and falls outside of Veenner’s responsibility.
We use your personal information to secure payment for our services and improve our products that we offer you. When you are an active VIP user,
a company or an advertising partner, we will store and bill your payment method to provide you uninterrupted access
to our services or integrated third party services that you subscribe to. Please read our Terms & conditions for

We may share with research groups aggregated and anonymized data for research purposes.
These aggregated and anonymized data cannot be linked to you or other individuals.
Your personal information and use of Veenner provides us valuable feedback on how the site functions.

user friendly and robust social network platform, where our interest in following this purpose outweighs the
rights for privacy of the users at Veenner.

We will also send you marketing material if you have consented to receiving marketing newsletters from us.
5. OUR LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

6. ABOUT YOUR CONSENT
You may at any time revoke the consent/s you have provided for our processing of your personal data.
If you want to revoke your consent to be a registered user on our platform, you may do so by
deleting your account. Read more about deleting your account below.
7. DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT
If you however choose to delete your profile, then all your profile information will be deleted,
in addition to data that directly relates to the profile. You may also, at any time withdraw your
consent by deleting your profile. All your personal information and content that you have provided will be deleted.
You will have to create a new profile, should you wish to return at a later point after having deleted your first profile.
8. ABOUT DATA RETENTION
We store your personal data as long as we have legal basis for such processing, where after they will be deleted.
We may be required by law to retain some of your personal information after your profile has been deleted,
for example to be able to document our income for tax purposes.
9. EXCERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
According to GDPR you may at any time exercise your rights regarding Veenner`s processing of your personal data, this includes:
- the right to obtain from Veenner information on how and which personal data we process;
- the right to require us to rectify inaccurate personal information;
- under certain condition, you may require that we delete all personal data we process on your behalf, i.e. the right to be forgotten;
- the right to require us to restrict the processing of your personal data;
- the right to receive a copy of the personal data that you have provided Veenner, in a commonly used and machine-readable
format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller;
- where you have provided us with consent to use your personal data you can withdraw this at any time.

10. HOW ARE YOUR INFORMATION SHARED?
The sharing of your personal information is to make Veenner work as intended and as outlined below.
10.1 SHARING WITH OTHER USERS
When you share and communicate using Veenner, you are able to choose the audience for what you share,
or the make the posting public. Unless you choose otherwise, most information will be public,
for example when you create discussion groups and write articles on your blog.
Discussion groups that are made public, will be open to everyone,
so be aware that everyone can make comments on the discussion topic you create.
When your information is public, it can be seen and shared by everyone.
If you mark information as private information, it will only be visible to you.
All profiles on Veenner are public. However, registered users get limited information
about you until you have agreed their request for connection. When connected,
Users can send you messages, comments and use information you share. VIP users
can as an added benefit send messages to everyone without asking for their permission to connect first.
When you make your posts public or create blog posts, those who are not connected with you,
but follow you can see your blog posts and every post that you decide to make public.
You have made these posts public because you want to share this information with others.
10.2 SHARING WITH ADVERTISERS AND SPONORS
We share with advertisers and sponsors aggregated and anonymized information data in group level.
10.3 SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES
Veenner may give you the option to use third-party apps, websites, or subscribe to such services
as integrated with Veenner. You will be asked to consent to our sharing of your personal
data with that third-party provider. The third-party service will not receive any of your
personal data unless you consent to it. We ensure that the personal information shared from
Veenner will be in line with your consent.
10.4 SHARING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
We only share your personal information with public administration or law enforcement branches if so required by law.
11. CROSS-BORDER DATA TRANSFERS
Your personal information will be stored and processed on servers located within the USA.
